today we celebrated sawyer’s fifth birthday with a big pirate party. the tractor and wagon became a pirate ship, the woods became a treasure hunt, and 11 kids ran around as pirates demanding loot.
now to get the high-on-sugar boys in bed…

iris and cosmo, two suffolk crosses, joined our pasture this past weekend. they’re lovely…and daisy and violet couldn’t be happier with their new companions.
